Face veneer on a paper backer — large format, consistent yield, and the usual answer for a burl or a crotch that will not behave raw.
What it is
Perhaps the most versatile product we manufacture is paper-backed veneer. Using the paper-backed technique, we can turn the most unruly crotches and figured species into unique sized sheets.
A book-matched burl field framed in straight grain — the kind of material a paper backer exists for.
We typically ship 4×8 and 4×10 sheets, but we hold a large inventory of unique burls and odd-lot highly figured species for your project. See the specifications page for our most common applications.
