Satinwood Crotch Veneer
Crotch-cut satinwood — a luminous golden plume with the satin luster the species is named for.
Heartwood ranges from light to golden yellow, to orangish brown. Whitish yellow sapwood generally paler than heartwood, but not always clearly demarcated from heartwood. Frequently seen with a mottled or rippled grain pattern, resembling ripples in satin fabric, lending to its name satinwood.0
Rosebud Veneer carries satinwood crotch in raw veneer, two-ply, and paper-backed form, and presses it to architectural panels on MDF, particleboard, or veneer core. Flitches are hand-graded and sequenced, so a run holds its match across a whole elevation.
Typical specifications include satinwood, crotch figure, ceylon satinwood. Tell us the sheet size, core, and quantity and we will quote it with lead time.
