About

The full-service veneer supplier

Rosebud Veneer is a full-service wood veneer supplier — from hand-graded raw veneer through custom-pressed, ready-to-install architectural panels. Built on a background in high-end custom furniture, cabinetry, and architectural wood panels, and more than 35 years of sourcing relationships with mills worldwide, we keep thousands of veneer flitches in stock and hand-grade every one for color, figure, and yield.

We serve architects, designers, millwork shops, and contractors — and we ship nationwide. The website is here so you can see what’s possible; the work starts with a conversation.

Species

Character in every grain

From tight, linear rift white oak to the deep chocolate of American walnut — hand-selected flitches, sequenced and matched to order.

Blueprint to panel

CNC precision, ready to install

We convert architectural drawings into finished panels in-house — CNC-routed to your blueprint, calibrated to an exact ¾-inch, with sequential matching drawn from a single flitch for continuous grain flow.

This is what an order looks like before it is a panel — elevations dimensioned to the sixteenth, a schedule that names the species by tag, and the renderings those tags point at. 1B is walnut, veneer-faced. We cut to 1B. See custom veneer sheets and panels for what we make to order.

Rift white oak parquet

Precision-cut geometric parquet on a flexible backing — rift-cut for straight, consistent grain with minimal fleck. It arrives ready to install and flexes to accommodate minor wall irregularities, in standard patterns or custom designs.

In the shop

Where the sheets are made

Veneer arrives as a flitch and leaves as a panel. In between it is graded by eye, spliced leaf to leaf, and pressed — the same bench, the same hands, since 1998.

Craftsmanship

Sequential matching, perfected

Leaves cut in sequence from the same flitch keep grain and color flowing across a whole piece — the difference between a good panel and a seamless one. We select, sequence, and press so the finished work reads as a single, continuous surface.
