A contemporary bathroom finished in fumed quartered curly eucalyptus veneer, the figure running through the cabinetry

What it is

Fumed wood veneer is created through an ammonia fuming process that reacts with the natural tannins in the wood, producing rich, deep color changes without stains or dyes. The result is a veneer with extraordinary depth and character that cannot be replicated with applied finishes.

Fumed quartered curly eucalyptus, the figure carried right through the cabinetry.

Rosebud Veneer carries fumed species including eucalyptus, etimoe, rift white oak and quartered larch. Each species reacts differently to the fuming process, producing unique color profiles from warm ambers to deep chocolates. All fumed veneer is available as raw sheets, two-ply, or laid up on architectural plywood panels.
