Sapele Pomelle Veneer
A dense field of small, bubbling "pomelle" blisters across sapele — like a suspended cloud of tiny domes.

Heartwood is a golden to dark reddish brown. Color tends to darken with age. Besides the common ribbon pattern seen on quartersawn boards, Sapele is also known for a wide variety of other figured grain patterns, such as: pommele, quilted, mottled, wavy, beeswing, and fiddleback.
Rosebud Veneer carries sapele pomelle in raw veneer, two-ply, and paper-backed form, and presses it to architectural panels on MDF, particleboard, or veneer core. Flitches are hand-graded and sequenced, so a run holds its match across a whole elevation.
Typical specifications include pomelle, sapele, blister figure. Tell us the sheet size, core, and quantity and we will quote it with lead time.
