Rosebud Veneer has, since 1998, been building expertise in architectural veneer that serves designers, architects, and builders across the country. Operating from Louisville, Kentucky, we source and manufacture premium veneer species — from classic American Walnut and White Oak to exotic options like Fumed Eucalyptus, Quartered Teak, and Black Limba — all held to exacting standards for consistency and quality.

Our inventory spans virtually every aesthetic requirement in contemporary and traditional design. Whether specifying Rift White Oak for a clean, modern interior, Crotch Mahogany for dramatic figuring, or Gray Dyed White Oak for a weathered contemporary look, we maintain deep stock across architectural plywood, 2-ply veneer, and paper-backed veneer formats. We work with projects of any scale — from single-panel specifications to large commercial runs requiring consistency across hundreds of sheets.

Getting started is straightforward. Request samples of any species to evaluate color, figure, and grain in person before committing to your project. Call (502) 330-5688 for pricing, availability, and sample requests. We ship nationwide from our Louisville location and stand behind every sheet we deliver.

The craft

Improvisation is a necessity

Sometimes — which is actually every day in the veneer world — improvisation is a necessity. Every log is different, every flitch has its own character, and matching a run across a whole elevation is a judgment call that no machine makes for you.

That is the part of this trade that does not scale, and it is why we still grade by hand.
