Redwood Burl Veneer
Deep red-brown Californian redwood burl with dense, curling eye clusters — commanding at architectural scale.
Heartwood color can range from a light pinkish brown to a deep reddish brown. Sapwood is a pale white/yellow. Curly figure or Redwood burl (sometimes referred to as “lace” or by the name Vavona) are occasionally seen.
Rosebud Veneer carries redwood burl in raw veneer, two-ply, and paper-backed form, and presses it to architectural panels on MDF, particleboard, or veneer core. Flitches are hand-graded and sequenced, so a run holds its match across a whole elevation.
