Blueprint estimator
Send the drawing, we will work out the veneer
Estimating veneer off a drawing is a judgment call — yield depends on the log, the match, and how the sheets fall against your elevations. So a person does it here, not a form. Send what you have and you will get a real number back.
Send the full drawing set and we break it down panel by panel into a cutlist, then manufacture your panels cut to size and sequence matched — less freight, less field labor, faster to finish. Todd answers calls, texts and email during business hours. A detailed cut list and quote typically follows within 48 hours.
What helps
What we need to estimate
- The drawing
- Elevations or a cut list — a PDF, a photo of a marked-up print, or a sketch with dimensions. Whatever you have.
- Species and cut
- If it is decided. If not, tell us the look you are after and we will suggest options.
- Format
- Raw, two-ply, paper-backed, or pressed panels ready to install.
- Core and sheet size
- MDF, particleboard or hardwood core; 4×8, 4×10, 4×12, or a 5-foot width.
- Whether it has to match
- Sequence matching across an elevation changes how we cut, so we need to know up front.
- Where it is going
- For freight, and so we know the lead time you are working to.
Not all of it — the drawing and a rough idea of the species is usually enough to start. See specifications for sizes, cores and matching methods, or custom veneer sheets and panels for what we make to order.

Sending a drawing? Email the PDF or the full set straight to rosebudveneer@gmail.com — attachments do not go through the form below, and a drawing in Todd's inbox is the fastest route to a cut list.
